Auction Purchase Chapel Hill
When this single mum of two was looking to purchase a family home the thought of going to auction was so daunting that she couldn’t do it alone.
After touching base with our team, and speaking with our Senior Buyers Agent Zoran Solano, the client had 100% confidence to proceed to auction and for our team to represent her on the day.
The property of interest was a 3 bed, 1 bath brick home that had been owner occupied for over 45 years by the seller, in need of renovation, but well maintained, this home provided a solid renovation platform for our clients to live in and add value to over time.
The Auction was a 2 horse race with myself and another bidder going toe-to-toe from the auctioneers opening bid of $500,000, going up in various increments from there up to the final sale figure of $550,500.
It was that $500 bid that made all the difference in the end with the other buyer tapping out at $550,000.
Overall it was a great result for the buyer, securing the property under her budget, and a timely sale for the seller who is looking to downsize into something more comfortable in her later years.
After the auction the families of both the Buyer and the Seller came together to celebrate the result which was heart warming to see.
